Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

Credit / Debit Card payments are processed through PAYPAL (You do not need to have an account with Paypal to make a Card payment)

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Every effort is made to reproduce colours on the site as accurately as possible: different computers reproduce colours in slightly different ways and so exact colour matches are not possible over the Internet. Because of the type of products we offer, there can be minor variations in colour and style from the descriptions and pictures on the website: Angels will always dispatch goods of comparable or superior quality.
Delivery Schedule WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?

We AIM to DESPATCH all orders within 48 hours of receipt of payment - Depending upon which posting method has been requested, delivery usually takes 1 - 3 days after dispatch. If you have selected an item that is not in stock we will try to contact you as quickly as we can. We will try to do this within 48 hours (except on weekends and bank/public holidays when we normally do not work). At busy times of the year including prior to Halloween and Christmas we cannot guarantee to contact you within this time. Please note, we do not despatch items on Saturday's, Sunday's & Bank Holidays. Orders placed after 12.00 Noon Friday may not be despatched until the following Monday. All the products on the website are subject to availability. We do not guarantee that all items shown on the website are in stock and are available and ready for dispatch. Display of an item on the website is not an indication that the item is in stock. Important: A number of LEG AVENUE items are not kept in stock by ourselves, and are ordered direct from the European distributor - these items state "Please allow 7 days for delivery of this item".


ROYAL MAIL 1st Class Recorded Delivery: Unless otherwise requested, all orders are despatched via Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery. This service usually takes between 1 & 3 days from date of posting, but can take up to a week in busy periods such as Halloween and Christmas. If you require your order before this time, we would recommend the Special Delivery option.

NEXT DAY DELIVERY: Next Day Delivery ordered must be made by 12.00pm.

Outside the UK (INTERNATIONAL) - Please allow 7 days for delivery.


We now offer a 'Click & Collect' service from our Caerphilly Store. Here's how it works:

1. Place an order via our web site.
2. At the checkout stage, select the free ''Caerphilly Store Pickup (1-2 Working Days)" option.
3. Pay for the order via Paypal.
4. You will receive a confirmation email of your order (Please ensure that the correct email & telephone details are entered).
5. We will contact you either via email or telephone within 2 working days to confirm that your order is ready for collection.
6. When you collect your order, please bring a printed copy of your order & photo ID, which must be either your passport or photo driving license.
7. We're happy for someone else to collect your order, but to prevent fraud the person you've nominated must present a printed copy of your order and their photo ID (passport or photo driving license).

Orders placed using the store pick up method are subject to our online terms and conditions.

Privacy Policy Dunbar Fancy Dress Costumes do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.
Returns Policy Items MUST be returned to our warehouse within 7 CALENDER DAYS OF RECEIPT (Receipt date is the date that the parcel was signed for).

Should an item(s) not be required, and is returned back to our warehouse between 8 and 30 calendar days from original receipt date by the customer, we will be happy to accept the item(s) back for a refund of goods to the value of 75% of the purchase price (excluding shipping).
Should an item be returned and received after 30 calendar days, we will have no obligation to refund. If you wish the item resent to you, we will ask for a nominal fee to cover additional shipping costs.


GOODS RETURN NUMBER

Before returning any item(s) please call us Monday to Thursday 9.30am to 4.00pm & Friday 9.30am to 1.00pm on 02920 882031 to obtain authorisation for returning the item(s), and a GOODS RETURNS NUMBER or email sales@dunbarcostumes.co.uk. The GRN must be included with the returned item; without this, we will not be able to process the return. You will be asked if you prefer a refund or an exchange. In addition to this, you will also be asked to confirm your order number, name & address, so please have these ready.
Please return the goods to the address on the top of your receipt/invoice including the Returns Authorisation Number. Any returned items not including such information may well be delayed.
All items will be inspected on their return to our warehouse.


POSTAGE COSTS

We DO NOT refund shipping costs; it is the Customers responsibility to return the item to us.


HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY REFUND?

We AIM to make refunds within one week of receipt back to us, though promise to make all refunds within 30 calendar days from receipt of goods to our warehouse.


What we will NOT Refund:

1) Items returned without a Goods Return Number.

2) Items returned longer than 7 Calendar days from date of receipt (see above for items returned between 8 and 30 days).

3) Items that have been Worn / Washed / Torn / Soiled (Signs of Makeup).

4) Items returned without complete undamaged Packaging.

5) Items returned in a Non Resalable condition.

6) Due to hygiene, Wigs, Mask, Stockings / Tights, Hats, Tights, Feather Boas,Teeth, Eyelashes, Underwear & Makeup.

7) Merchandise must not be altered in any way including the removal of Labels & Tags.

8) Postage Fees. This includes deliveries that the customer deems 'too late' and is therefore refused by the customer.

9) Costumes that include Tights / Stockings that have been opened & tried on.

Any returned goods that we receive which are outside of this Returns Policy will be defined as 'In Dispute'. Such 'In Dispute' items will not be refunded or exchanged. A reason for this decision will be provided. We are happy to re-ship such 'In Dispute' items back to you; otherwise they will be destroyed within 90 calendar days from their receipt back to us.

COSTUME EXCHANGE:

Can I exchange my item?

Yes, but you must first contact us as above, within 7 days of receipt to obtain a Goods Return Number. Please include £3.00 to cover the return postage.


FAULTY GOODS:

Should a product be faulty, you should let us know immediately as we will happily refund or exchange it for you. You should let us know as soon as possible by calling us Monday to Thursday 9.30am to 4.00pm & Friday 9.30am to 1.00pm 02920 882031 within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery.

Before sending the parcel back to us, please contact us for a Returns Authorisation Number. You will be asked for the reason for the return including whether you will prefer a refund or exchange plus whether the item has been used. In addition, you will need to confirm your name, order number and postcode, so please have these available if you telephone. You will need to include this Returns Number with your parcel back to us as failure to do so will result in delay of any refund.

May we please ask you to additionally note:
We shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, misuse or alteration of the ordered goods.
