Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
Credit / Debit Card payments are processed through PAYPAL (You do not need to have an account with Paypal to make a Card payment)
If you are shopping from Europe, North America or Australia / New Zealand, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. |
Delivery Schedule When will I receive my item?
We AIM to DESPATCH all orders within 48 hours of receipt of payment. Depending upon which posting method has been requested, delivery usually takes 1 - 3 days after despatch. If the item ordered is not in stock, you will be contacted within 48 hours via Email.
LEG AVENUE to ORDER: Thoese Leg Avenue Costumes with 'ORDER' next to their names may take up to 4 weeks for delivery.
ROYAL MAIL 1st Class Recorded Delivery: Unless otherwise requested, all orders are despatched via Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery. This service usually takes between 1 & 3 days from date of posting, but can take up to a week in busy periods such as Christmas. If you require your order before this time, we would recommend the Special Delivery option.
NEXT DAY DELIVERY: We use ROYAL MAIL SPECIAL DELIVERY. Order MUST be paid for by 12.00 Noon for this service.
OUTSIDE the UK: Standard postal rates apply. Usual delivery times - Europe 3 /7 days, Rest of the World 7 /10 days.

| Back Orders Although 99% of items listed on our site are IN STOCK, if demand is high, from time to time we may run out of certain items. If this is the case, we will place you item on back order. We will send you an email to confirm this, giving you the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. |

Privacy Policy Dunbar Costumes do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. Returns Policy Items MUST be returned within 7 CALENDER DAYS OF RECEIPT. We feel that this is ample time to try on the costume to ensure that it lives up to your expectations. Please note, items received back in our Warehouse after 7 days from the date of receipt WILL NOT be considered for a refund (See below).
GOODS RETURN NUMBER: Before returning any item, you must first call us on 02920 882031 to obtain authorisation for returning the item, and a GOODS RETURNS NUMBER. The GRN must be included with the returned item; without this, we will not be able to process the return. You will be asked if you prefer a refund or an exchange. In addition to this, you will also be asked to confirm your order number, name & address, so please have these ready
DAMAGED / FAULTY GOODS:
Will be replaced on a Like for Like basis, or a Refund less Postage Costs & less a 10% Admin fee. All claims MUST be made within 3 business working days of receipt of order. POSTAGE COSTS:
We DO NOT refund shipping costs; it is the Customers responsibility to return the item to us.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY REFUND?
We AIM to make refunds within one week of receipt back to us, though promise to make all refunds within 30 calendar days from receipt of goods to our warehouse. PLEASE NOTE: Due to halloween, Items returned during October may not be refunded until early November.
HOW MUCH WILL I RECEIVE IN MY REFUND?
The Costs of the returned item / items, less Postage Costs, less 10% Administration fees.
What we will NOT Refund:
1) Items returned without a Goods Return Number.
2) Items returned longer than 7 Calendar days from date of receipt.
3) Items that have been Worn / Washed / Torn / Soiled (Signs of Makeup).
4) Items returned without complete undamaged Packaging.
5) Items returned in a Non Resalable condition.
6) Items must be absolutely Free Odour - including the smell of Smoke.
7) Due to hygiene, Wigs, Mask, Stockings / Tights, Hats, Tights, Teeth, Eyelashes, Underwear & Makeup.
8) Merchandise must not be altered in any way including the removal of Labels & Tags.
9) Postage Fees. This includes deliveries that the customer deems too late and are therefore refused by the customer.
10) Costumes that include Tights / Stockings that have been opened & tried on.
Any returned goods that we receive which are outside of this Returns Policy will be defined as 'In Dispute'. Such In Dispute items will not be refunded or exchanged. A reason for this decision will be provided. We are happy to re-ship such In Dispute items back to you, otherwise they will be destroyed within 30 calendar days from their receipt back to us.
COSTUME EXCHANGE:
Can I exchange my item?
Yes, but you must first contact us as above, within 3 days of despatch to obtain a Goods Return Number. You will also be asked to include £3.00 to cover the Postage Costs of sending the replacement item to you.
